Some of us went to Windrock July 17, 18, & 19. These are a few clips from Saturday the 18th. I got to meet some new to me faces and just had an all around great time. An awesome group to ride with. I also wanted to thank everybody that I got to ride with for the opportunity. It was an honor . Exceptional riders and super good people to boot. What a combo!

That's my kind of riding. We have to make it out there! What were you recording with? I like the info on the screen. Pretty neat.

That was my first trip to Windrock, it was very good. The place is huge, we didn't even scratch the surface considering the amount of trails available. I used a Garmin Virb to record the video. I don't think I had the mount tightened down very good though, kinda shaky. This Virb model has a built in bluetooth so that you can control it from your Garmin GPS or Garmin watch inside the buggy without having to have an additional remote control to fool with. That's a good thing IMO. Like every thing else in technology, everything changes constantly, there are new models coming out all the time. The one I have is an original version.

How are liking the Garmin Virb? I love their overlay with the tracks and info.

Virb is OK, I like the fact that you know where you're at any point on the video, if you see something that you want to go back to again, just put in the coordinates in a GPS and you can go back to the same spot. The new ones look kinda like GoPros. However, the newest GoPros have better video options if you need the top of the line video. But for my needs video quality of the Virb is fine.
