I will post pics when I can.

I either carry a Kimber Solo CDP, Glock 27 or 30 and maybe a LCP for backup and whatever may or may not be in my car.

    What do you guys carry?

I've carried a Springfield XD-40 SubCompact for the past 9 months in a TTGunleather holster. Prior to that I carried, and still do occasionally, a Glock 21SF in a Crossbreed type holster.

I carry a Springfield XDM 45 3.8. How comfortable is the crossbreed holster? I have been looking for a new holster and that is one of them. I'm a lefty so it's slim pickings at my local shop.

They are all custom made. They cost a lot but they are nice and they have enough business to make you order and wait. There are a lot of prder options on the website and you pick what you want and they custom make them. I have a few myself. Very good holsters.

Yea one thing I do know is if you want comfort it ain't cheap. Does it get hot in the summer months? Is it worth the money to get the upgraded leather? Sorry to ask so many questions but when I get a chance to talk to someone with experience I tend to ask.

Like Magellan said, they are nice. You hardly notice it's there. Spreads the weight nicely. I carried a big, heavy Glock 21 around and it wasn't bad at all. It can get pretty warm in the hot summer months, but the leather holds up fine. Mine is just the cowhide, not horse. The holster you see in my pics is a TTGunleather. It's a fine piece of craftsmanship. Wait time was about 3-4 months after I ordered it.

I imagine it's like a good pair of boots. You just can't beat handmade craftsmanship.

That holster is SWEET!!! Next on my list except left hand draw to wear in the back and draw with my right. Wish I had gotten the 1911 in L hand draw.

    My Daily carry:
    Sog Trident
Glock 23, Sig 229 or Makarov.
    Phone

How do you keep the Supertuck style holsters put. I've had one and the clips never seemed to be strong enough to hodl it place in the belt. I ended up replacing the holster for my Glock for a Comp-Tac Minotaur.

My favorite and most comfortable for my Sig is my Galco paddle. It is more a winter holster, but it's so comfortable.

I had the same problem and called crossbreed and they said it would not happen with the crossbreed belt, so I bought a belt from them as well. Nicest belt I have ever had. You also have to wear a belt that fits the clips a 1 inch belt that is thin will not work well, that is what I had. This one is pretty thick and 1 1/4" wide. Kinda pricy at 69 dollars though. I think a LOT of people have that problem with their holsters or they would not make belts and holsters. I mean what other holster company sells 70 dollar belts.

    Gun Belt
    Belt Color:Black
    Belt Size:45 add $10.00
    Belt Width:1 1/4"
    Basket Weave:No Thanks
Velcro Belt Backing, includes clips:No thanks

Interesting. I just looked at the belt. Specs look similar to my Galco with the exception I have a stainless insert in the belt. I think I paid close to $100 bucks 5 years ago, so the Crossbreed is a good deal. But I typically wear an old operator belt on my daily treks. My issue with the Galco held is I get held up in airport security because of the steel liner.

That looks like a nice belt though.

Recently I have been using this mostly to CC my Solo CDP. Believe it or not this came from Ebay etwholsters.com and was cheap but works GREAT. Love it and it was about 1/3 the cost of the crossbreeds or galco's either one. Even came with some "quick N slick" to treat it with so you get a smooth and easy draw when you need it.

Anybody got advice for a shoulder holster for a Glock 30 that I can wear under a light jacket when I ride? I am 6'3" 275# so it has to be good for big guys.

Sig P239 or a Keltec PF9 with Alien gear holsters, depending on the weather.

I have not found a holster I like for the Sig yet. IWB, it is a little bulky, but OWB I have trouble concealing it with the holster I have. Most of the time I have it in a cheap holster in my console of the car or in a coat pocket.

I guess I fill my waistband out a little better because I can use my Crossbreed without a belt and it stays put really well for me.
