Question on wheels.. Does anyone know the size of the lugs? I tried putting on 10x 1.25 and they were too small.. Can it be 12x 1.25?

Why would you need to put lugs on?

Best picture I have on my phone at the moment. Can try to dig up some better ones later.

    27" GBC grim reapers
    14" NoLimit wheels

The GBCs have been good tires, but I'll probably go with 27" Blackwaters next. image.jpg

I have been through a few different sets of tires... I learned my lesson and quit buying ATV tires for an UTV. I also have the STI HD beadlocks, love them and recommend them to everyone! I have had these wheels through 3 sets of tires. OEM BH 2.blows, 28" Interco Swamplites (FAIL) and currently 28" Blackwater EVO's. IMO the EVO's being a purpose built UTV tire with the proper weight ratings, an awesome tread pattern and a killer sidewall are the tires to beat!!

I have a set of GBC Dirt Devils on MSA Rims on my Can-Am Renegade.. The bolt pattern is the same, however the lugs on the Renegade were 10x1.25. So they don't fit the Green Monstah.. Hoping I can find 12x 1.25 and that they will fit. The opening on the MSA rims are very small.

Why not try drilling them out to the right size? Or do you think it would weaken the wheel?

I've got these on my list of "possibles". My concern is with the weight of these. I have a stock 2011 T2 and don't really want to get into clutching, but do want a taller tire. Others on my list are Zillas (superlight) and Commanders (not so light)

Liking those Evos more and more every time I see them. I may be picking up a set later this year.

JTT, I've ran Zillas on a Grizzly 700 and Brute Force 750. They are excellent ATV tires, but my feeling is that they are too lightweight (build wise) for SxSs. Best to stick with radials for trail tires.

I don't have the exact data, I will post later today. They are 1000 times beefier but you can't feel it on the machine of that makes any sense. The performance wasn't negatively affected at all.

Just got these off the fed ex truck last night. Along with 27x9x12 Blackwater Evolutions. Too cold to mess with them last night. Can't wait until this weather breaks to put them all together.

I just picked up a barely used set of Dirt Commanders in 27x9x12 and 27x11x12 that I'm trying to get put on this weekend too. I've got the same wheels only not green rings. They seem to be one of the most popular options out there right now!

Tire wise probably I'd rank them Blackwater Evos, Original Bighorns, GBC Dirt Commanders in that order. An 8 ply rating is a must with these heavy machines in rocky conditions.

I debated on going with Dirt Commanders when I upgraded from the Bighorn 2.0s. I ended up buying Grim Reapers instead. Figured the 8ply radials would be better for the heavy T4, but honestly the 8 ply bias will probably be just a stiff. My biggest complaint with the Grim Reapers is that they form flat spots after sitting overnight. They even out after a few miles, but that's something I never experienced with the bighorns.
