I think the Trex is the best built machine out there for toughness for the price from all the machines I have looked at and read about to date. If Kawi would just take the Golf cart look out of the design and put more sporty into it and unleash the top end. Its a nice machine. Even the new Yamaha is getting wide . not sure what is happening to 60" wide machines.

Hello, new to here, but I'm a regular on RnR's :) I have a 2012 T4, with several mods. Good to be here Butch!

Teryx is only 61.6" wide, you would be hard pressed to notice the extra 1.6" over a 60" RZR or WC out on the trails. Put aftermarket wheels on a 60" machine and you're wider than a Teryx.

I really don't see where the 60+" is even an issue any more with the exceptions of some of the "restricted" trail systems.
Most of the trails have evolved for the most part for these wider machines.

The state trails in Ohio are 50", Wayne National Forest,etc... But I honestly don't care, I never ride there anyways. All the places I ride a 65-70" machine would fit honestly. There's a few places where 50" machines shine but there's other places on the same trail where they struggle more than the larger machines. One thing is for sure it doesn't matter how wide or narrow a machine is if it's broken down. Reliability is my number one priority in an off-road vehicle.

I would think this should change soon. The state has to be losing out on some revenue by not allowing discouraging the UTV's. To me anyway this seems to be where the off-road powersports trend is going.
