Definitely takes patience. I'm glad I did it before it got all dirty for sure. It is a job. The cheap roller that came with it broke about half way through. And I could have used one more sheet. But I am pleased with how it turned out over all. I hope it's worth it.

That junk roller broke on me too. I ended up using the metal end where the roller attached to press the material down in the corners. Turned out decent. Hopefully it makes a difference. Did you notice your '15 being any quieter than your '12 before you did anything to either one?

Yes it did seem quieter but it doesn't have a roof either. I would say that had alot to do with it. We took it for a short ride the other evening and I thought it was a little quieter than my 12 and I asked my wife if she thought so too. She said no, my head is still roaring just like with the old one.

I'm sure my aluminum top makes it much worse, but I've driven a '14 T2 with a plastic top and it seemed a little quieter. Wasn't sure if Kawi did anything to quiet them down or not.
